Pharmarelief Team

Sekretariat Mahasiswa Fakulti (SMF) of Pharmacy have taken initiative and opportunity to build a newly established voluntary organization team for humanity purpose called a Pharmarelief Team .

Below are objectives of Pharmarelief Team:-

1. To let the involvement of students more in volunteering activities for the sake of community and country.
2. To ensure the volunteer have basic knowledge and always get ready when their service in need especially during emergency cases or natural disasters.
3. To build and strengthen the relationship between the faculty of pharmacy and volunteer agencies.

Mechanisms in volunteering by Pharmarelief Team:-

1. Volunteering in hospitality or community.

2. Collect (basic needs) donation from society.

3. Access to the sponsorship of basic medicines.

By establishing the Pharmarelief Team, we would be involved more in giving help towards those who in need or have emergency issues. As this team is a volunteer purpose, some of the members were offered to join a workshop by Malaysian Relief Agency (MRA) at Kem Sungai Y, Kampung Orang Asli Ulu Slim, Perak for 3 days 2 night from 17 May until 19 May 2019. 

The volunteers that joined the workshop were taught a skill needed for health screening patients among the residents. They also learned the crafting made by indigenous people there. 

In the future, there will be more workshop for us to enhance our skill that requires in volunteering. In case if any of you need us for help, do contact us through our social media below. Thank you.
